For over 30 years, the Disability Rights Education & Defense Fund has provided the highest standard of disability rights advocacy.

Our donors make it possible for us to achieve social change through grassroots organizing and training; developing and promoting legislation and public policy reform; and defending our rights in the courts.

We pride ourselves on a diverse funding base—a mix of donations, grants, contracts, and earned income.

In this mix, your support as an individual or a family is especially critical. Many foundations and corporate giving programs limit their funding to exclude advocacy organizations like DREDF. Developing and promoting legislation and policy reform is expensive. Impact litigation that creates broad social change takes years to develop, file, and shepherd through the judicial system. Your support lets us carry on with our cross-disability work to end disability prejudice and discrimination.
