California AB 2747 and its Imitators: "End-of-Life Care" and "Patients Right to Know" Acts

 

Read about the dangerous new campaign by Compassion and Choices (formerly the Hemlock Society) and other assisted suicide proponents. These letters and Op Ed were written in opposition to California AB 2747, signed into law in September 2008 and entitled by its supporters as "Terminal Patients' Right to Know End-of-Life Options Act." There are bills to enact similar laws in Maryland and Arizona.
