Andrea Dye joined DREDF in August 2006 as a Lutheran Volunteer for a year long internship with the Children and Family Advocacy Program. In September 2007 Andie agreed to stay and continue to work with the education advocates and also share her talents with DREDF's development team. Andie earned a bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from the University of Kansas in 2006.

We help families navigate special education through our Parent Training & Information Center & Foster Youth Resources for Education projects.
We lead trainings and provide publications on disability rights laws and policies.
Internationally we consult on legislative and community organizing strategies.
We work to further knowledge on legal, social and economic issues that affect the rights of people with disabilities.
